Study on Anti-frosting Method by ITO for the Telescope in Antarctica
Optical Interference Coatings Conference (OIC) 2019, 2019Antarctic Dome A is one of the best astronomical observation sites on the earth. However, the extreme environmental conditions in Antarctica make its development and operation challenging. The problem of mirror frosting is a problem that Antarctic astronomical instruments must overcome.

Applied Surface Science, 2015
Abstract Inspired by typical plant surfaces with super-hydrophobic character such as lotus leaves and rose petals, a superhydrophobic surface was achieved successfully by a chemical immersion process. Here, 304 SS (stainless steel) was used as substrates and a micro-nano hierarchical structure was obtained by chemical etching with a mixed solution ...

Tests on " anti-frost " products used in aeronautics
1990Studies carried out by CEMAGREF to measure the efficiency of defrost and anti-frost products in cold storage. The tests have been done on aluminium surfaces protected by anti-frost products. In this article we find a description of the properties of the anti-frost products, the test installations and the measuring equipment.

Preparation and anti-frosting performance of super-hydrophobic surface based on copper foil
International Journal of Thermal Sciences, 2011A flower-like super-hydrophobic surface on the copper foil was fabricated by means of a facile method using solution immersing. The water contact angle of this surface was measured to be as high as 156.2° after modified with fluoroalkylsilane (FAS) coating.

Anti‐Frosting Perovskite Quantum Dots Films via Femtosecond Laser Composite Texturing
Advanced Functional MaterialsAbstractPerovskite quantum dots (QDs), characterized by high photoluminescence quantum yield, narrow half‐peak width, and full‐spectrum tunability, are considered promising candidates for next‐generation light‐emitting displays. However, their poor environmental stability and insufficient frost resistance restrict their application in outdoor displays.

Research of anti-frosting technology in refrigeration and air conditioning fields: A review
Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, 2018Abstract Frost formation is inevitable in refrigeration and air conditioning fields. Frosting heavily impacts on the operating efficiency of equipments, and leads to considerable energy consumption for defrosting. This study reviewed anti-frosting techniques in refrigeration and air conditioning fields, including air dehumidification by solid/liquid ...
