Research on anti-islanding detection technology strategy
In recent years, the conditions and environment of China's economic development have undergone or are about to undergo many major changes. At the same time, China's electricity consumption ranks the first in the world with a huge volume and a considerable annual net increment.

A critical assessment of islanding detection methods of solar photovoltaic systems
This study identifies inadvertent islanding in electrical networks incorporating Distributed Generators (DGs). With the global rise of DG deployment, it becomes imperative to scrutinize their influence on the network and guarantee that anti-islanding ...

On active anti-islanding techniques: survey
The phenomenon of feeding loads from any distributed generators (DGs) with a total disconnection of utility grid at the point of common coupling is called Islanding. The DGs are usually independently controlled. Hence, when the islanding problem occurs, the electric utility loses the control and supervision over that section of the power grid ...

The effect of inrush transients on pv inverter's grid impedance measurement based on inter-harmonic injection [PDF]
This paper addresses a cause for false tripping of photovoltaic inverters with antiislanding protection based on impedance measurement with inter-harmonic injection. Earlier discussions about tripping problems happening when several devices are doing the

Suggested guidelines for anti-islanding screening [PDF]
As increasing numbers of photovoltaic (PV) systems are connected to utility systems, distribution engineers are becoming increasingly concerned about the risk of formation of unintentional islands. Utilities desire to keep their systems secure, while not imposing unreasonable burdens on users wishing to connect PV.

Anti-Islanding Detector Based on a Robust PLL
As required by international standards, the distributed energy generators, connected to the grid by an inverter, have to detect an islanding condition within a suitable time interval. In this paper, a phase-locked loop (PLL), based on a third-order prediction-correction filter, is proposed to implement an islanding detector with reduced detection time.
