Intelligent OFDM telecommunication system. Part 3. Anti-eavesdropping and anti-jamming properties of system, based on many-parameter wavelet and Golay transforms [PDF]
In this paper, we aim to investigate the superiority and practicability of many-parameter Fourier transforms (MPFT) from the physical layer security (PHY-LS) perspective.

For safe human–robot collaboration (HRC), a protective and collision‐sensitive robot skin is proposed. The developed robot skin, named Gel‐Skin, is composed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gel, which is a functional material with impact absorption capability and tunable piezoresistive characteristics based on electrical charge‐accumulation.

Intelligent OFDM telecommunication system. Part 4. Anti-eavesdropping and anti-jamming properties of the system, based on many-parameter and fractional Fourier transforms [PDF]
In this paper, we aim to investigate the superiority and practicability of many-parameter wavelet and Golay transforms (MPWT and MPGT) from the physical layer security (PHY-LS) perspective.

Abstract We study the health impact of food and beverage price promotion strategies—multi‐buy offers and price discounts, typically biased toward unhealthy product categories—in British consumer retail. We are the first to employ econometric models from the marketing literature to analyze the impact of price promotions with a focus on population health.

Cognitive Anti-Jamming Satellite-To-Ground Communications on NASA's SCaN Testbed [PDF]
Machine learning aided cognitive anti-jamming communications is designed, developed and demonstrated on a live satellite-to-ground link. A wideband autonomous cognitive radio (WACR) is designed and implemented as a hardware-in-the- loop (HITL) prototype.

Gut Microbiome Pilot Study of Patients With CHARGE Syndrome and Sibling Controls
ABSTRACT Difficulties with feeding and digestion are common in individuals with CHARGE syndrome. Animal models with CHD7 gene variants demonstrate abnormal gut innovation and dysmotility. Our pilot study evaluated whether individuals with CHARGE syndrome have differences in their gut microbiome compared to unaffected siblings.

Integrity Versus Ideology in Automated Assessment: The Jobseeker Snapshot
ABSTRACT This article analyses the entanglement of political ideology and digitalisation in the Australian approach to online assessment of claims for income security, with a focus on job seeker classification. In the Australian social security system, the Job Seeker Classification Instrument (JSCI) has been used to screen and ‘score’ income security ...

Anti-Jamming for Embedded Wireless Networks [PDF]
Resilience to electromagnetic jamming and its avoidance are difficult problems. It is often both hard to distinguish malicious jamming from congestion in the broadcast regime and a challenge to conceal the activity patterns of the legitimate ...

Abstract US clinical practice guidelines for the diagnostic evaluation of cognitive impairment due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or AD and related dementias (ADRD) are decades old and aimed at specialists. This evidence‐based guideline was developed to empower all—including primary care—clinicians to implement a structured approach for evaluating a ...
