Broadcast anti-jamming systems

Computer Networks, 2001
In a traditional anti-jamming system a transmitter who wants to send a signal to a single receiver spreads the signal power over a wide frequency spectrum with the aim of stopping a jammer from blocking the transmission. In this paper, we consider the case that there are multiple receivers and the transmitter wants to broadcast a message to all ...

Hybrid Strategy of Anti-Jamming for MANET

International Journal of Organizational and Collective Intelligence, 2022
A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an autonomous system of mobile platforms called nodes which are free to move around randomly and without constraint. The Communication in this type of network is subject to many security issues such as jamming attacks, identifying the jamming attacks are challenging, which can increase the security threats, so ...

Anti-Jamming Filtering in the Autocorrelation Domain

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2004
An anti-jamming filtering technique is presented that it fully eliminates the jamming (or noncooperative) signal and its performance is noise-independent. This technique uses multiple receivers; a filtering process explores the nonoverlapping properties of the signals in the autocorrelation domain; and a matching of the input and the output statistics.

Anti-jamming of chaotic signals

Proceedings of Third International Conference on Signal Processing (ICSP'96), 2002
It is found that the amplitude-modulation disturbance can make the chaotic output signals of Chua's (1986) circuit jump into a limit cycle. This is because the limit cycles usually encircle the chaotic orbits in the phase portraits of the Chua's circuits. The four jamproof methods adopted in our physical experiments are the limiter for clipping the sum

Anti-jamming techniques for synthetic aperture radar

2009 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2009
Excellent performance of SAR has aroused deep study of jamming techniques. This paper first discusses present jamming techniques and their shortcomings, then gives methodology of classifying ECCM of SAR, and at the same time, gives principle and results of signal design method, which combines orthogonal codes and random initial phase at each pulse, the

Design of Anti-Jamming Coding for Cognitive Radio

IEEE GLOBECOM 2007-2007 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2007
We consider the design of efficient anti-jamming coding techniques for secondary usage of spectrum in cognitive radio. Specifically, we consider two coding schemes, rateless coding and piecewise coding. Both coding schemes have small overhead, as well as low-complexity encoding and decoding.

Anti-jamming on the OR-channel

Proceedings of 1994 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2002
We propose a frequency hopping scheme with M-ary frequency shift keying applied to the OR-channel and give its error and erasure probabilities. Asymptotically, the bit error probability is bounded away from zero whereas it polynomially tends to zero for our previously proposed generalized scheme. >

Deep Learning for an Anti-Jamming CPM Receiver

MILCOM 2019 - 2019 IEEE Military Communications Conference (MILCOM), 2019
A novel continuous phase modulation (CPM) receiver model is proposed in this paper that employs deep learning (DL) techniques to improve the signal recovery and synchronization performance under heavy jamming conditions for frequency hopping (FH) based waveforms. A hybrid deep neural network is used to implement the DL in the receiver model.

Anti-Jamming Underwater Transmission With Mobility and Learning

IEEE Communications Letters, 2018
In this letter, we present an anti-jamming underwater transmission framework that applies reinforcement learning to control the transmit power and uses the transducer mobility to address jamming in underwater acoustic networks. The deep $Q$ -networks-based transmission scheme can achieve the optimal power and node mobility control without knowing ...
