A novel mutation in the anti-müllerian hormone gene as cause of persistent müllerian duct syndrome.
International audiencePersistent müllerian duct syndrome is a relatively rare inherited defect of sexual differentiation characterised by failure of regression of the müllerian ducts in males. In affected individuals, uterus and tubes are present because

Granulosa cell tumour arising from ovarian remnant tissue can occur in spayed cats without overt estrus signs, despite marked hyperestrogenaemia. In this case, CT showed a large abdominal mass contiguous with ovarian vasculature; surgery and histopathology confirmed granulosa cell tumour with hepatic metastasis.

Cryptorchidism: Novel genetic insights into CCDC149 mutations
Abstract Background Cryptorchidism, characterized by the failure of one or both testes to descend into the scrotum, is a common congenital condition that can lead to infertility and increased risk of testicular cancer. CCDC149, a coiled‐coil domain‐containing protein, has been implicated in various developmental processes, but its role in the male ...

Abstract Background Non‐obstructive azoospermia (NOA) affects approximately 10% of infertile men and represents a major challenge in assisted reproductive technology (ART). A model that includes histological variants could be helpful in predicting sperm retrieval rate (SRR) after microdissection testicular sperm extraction (mTESE) in patients affected ...
