Quantum Mechanics of Dynamical Zero Mode in $QCD_{1+1}$ on the Light-Cone [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Motivated by the work of Kalloniatis, Pauli and Pinsky, we consider the theory of light-cone quantized $QCD_{1+1}$ on a spatial circle with periodic and anti-periodic boundary conditions on the gluon and quark fields respectively.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Anti-periodic solutions for semilinear evolution equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2006
The author considers the following semilinear evolution equation \[ \begin{cases} u'(t)+Au(t)+\partial Gu(t)+F(t,u(t))=0 &\text{a.e. }t\in \mathbb{R},\\ u(t+T)=-u(t), &t\in \mathbb{R},\end{cases} \tag{1} \] in a separable Hilbert space \(H\). He proves that if \(A:D(A) \subset H\to H\) is a linear densely defined closed selfadjoint operator such that ...

Interface energies in Ising spin glasses

open access: yes, 2003
The replica method has been used to calculate the interface free energy associated with the change from periodic to anti-periodic boundary conditions in finite-dimensional spin glasses.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

(ω,c) $(\omega ,c)$-Pseudo periodic functions, first order Cauchy problem and Lasota–Wazewska model with ergodic and unbounded oscillating production of red cells

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2019
In this paper we study a new class of functions, which we call (ω,c) $(\omega ,c)$-pseudo periodic functions. This collection includes pseudo periodic, pseudo anti-periodic, pseudo Bloch-periodic, and unbounded functions.

The formation of solitary wave solutions and their propagation for Kuralay equation

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
In this paper, the main motive is to mathematical explore the Kuralay equation, which find applications in various fields such as ferromagnetic materials, nonlinear optics, and optical fibers. The objective of this study is to investigate different types

Justification of the coupled-mode approximation for a nonlinear elliptic problem with a periodic potential

open access: yes, 2007
Coupled-mode systems are used in physical literature to simplify the nonlinear Maxwell and Gross-Pitaevskii equations with a small periodic potential and to approximate localized solutions called gap solitons by analytical expressions involving ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...
