Eigenfunctions of Unbounded Support for Embedded Eigenvalues of Locally Perturbed Periodic Graph Operators [PDF]
It is known that, if a locally perturbed periodic self-adjoint operator on a combinatorial or quantum graph admits an eigenvalue embedded in the continuous spectrum, then the associated eigenfunction is compactly supported--that is, if the Fermi surface ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

The Characterization of the Variational Minimizers for Spatial Restricted N+1-Body Problems
We use Jacobi's necessary condition for the variational minimizer to study the periodic solution for spatial restricted N+1-body problems with a zero mass on the vertical axis of the plane for N equal masses. We prove that the minimizer of the Lagrangian

Numerical Study of Forced Vibration Suppression by Parametric Anti-Resonance
The parametric anti-resonance phenomenon as an active damping tool for suppression of externally excited resonant vibration is numerically studied herein. It is well known fact that the anti-resonance phenomenon, i.e.

Anti-periodic solutions of Liénard equations with state dependent impulses
The authors study the existence of anti-periodic solutions of Liénard equations with state dependent impulses. Assuming some a priori bounds, the existence of a unique anti-periodic solution is established. Moreover, they construct a sequence of iterates converging point-wise to the solution and provide a bound for the rate of convergence.

The uncoupling limit of identical Hopf bifurcations with an application to perceptual bistability [PDF]
We study the dynamics arising when two identical oscillators are coupled near a Hopf bifurcation where we assume a parameter $\epsilon$ uncouples the system at $\epsilon=0$.

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

In this paper, by using a continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory and a differential inequality, we establish some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and global exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions for a class of fuzzy ...
