Radiation‐induced hypothyroidism follows head and neck radiotherapy due to oxidative stress and inflammation. Electrospun polycaprolactone scaffolds containing adenosine have potential to modulate thyroid repair. Scaffolds enhance thyrocyte proliferation, antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase and catalase, reduce senescence and apoptosis markers ...

Stability analysis of a 9-level boulder-filled slope reinforced with anti-slide piles
The secondary excavation of existing slopes for expressway widening in mountainous regions often encounters giant boulders embedded within the slopes, posing significant stability challenges, particularly during anti-slide pile construction.

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

A human 3D bone niche integrating osteoblasts and osteoclasts enables co‐culture with prostate cancer cell lines and patient‐derived organoids. The engineered niche (i) models aspects of reciprocal phenotypic regulation between osteoblasts and cancer cells, (ii) captures osteoclast‐enhanced osteomimicry in tumor cells, and (iii) establishes a ...

Matrix Stiffness Directs Stemness Signatures in Breast Cancer
We built lab‐grown breast cancer models to study how the stiffness of the tumor's surroundings influences cancer behavior. Softer environments encouraged more stem‐like, drug‐resistant cells, while stiffer ones kept cells more differentiated. These findings show that tissue mechanics drive cancer diversity and drug resistance, offering new insights for

Three-section method for calculating internal force and deformation of cantilevered anti-slide pile
At present, the internal force and displacement of anti-slide piles are calculated on the basis of two sections: the loaded segment and the embedded segment (called "Two-section method").

Gellan gum fluid gel (FG) enables controlled ocular delivery of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)‐derived extracellular vesicles (EV). Its shear‐thinning, solid‐liquid‐solid rheology ensures prolonged ocular retention. Sustained MSC‐EV release (∼18% in 6 hrs) supports effective EV ocular delivery.
