There was a positive correlation between apnea/hypopnea index (AHI) index and platelet aggregation and a negative correlation between CD42b and multidrug resistance protein 1 (MRP1). Platelet activation was high while MRP1 expression was low in severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) independent of smoking, age, and gender.

A mitochondria‐targeted AIE photosensitizer, LIQ‐TPA‐TZ, was developed to fight against Candida infection. It can efficiently produce reactive oxygen species to kill Candida guilliermondii and eradicate biofilms. It not only disrupted the respiratory chain and affected the metabolism and energy supply but also reduced the fungi adhesion and filament ...

Treponema pallidum protein Tp0136 enhances vascular permeability by upregulating CSRP1, which induces MYO10 exon 19 skipping, reducing MYO10 expression and triggering endothelial spheroidization. This study reveals a novel RNA splicing‐mediated dissemination mechanism, proposing CSRP1/MYO10 as therapeutic targets to limit bacterial dissemination in ...
