Implant infection, undesirable inflammation, and poor osseointegration are the primary reasons for implant failure, so it is pivotal to endow bone implants with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and osteogenic properties. Here, a multifunctional fluorine-doped zirconium-metal organic framework (Zr-MOF) film was constructed on the titanium to modify its

Microbial growth and reproduction can cause food spoilage. Developing the controlled release packaging films for food is an ideal solution. In this study, polyethyleneimine (PEI) was grafted to cellulose nanofibers (CNF) films by Schiff base, and when the CNF/PEI films were stimulated by pH, PEI released from the CNF/PEI films due to Schiff base ...

A Study on Antibacteria of Hydroxyapatite Filter
Journal of the Korean Ceramic Society, 2013A hydroxyapatite air filter was made with hydroxyapatite powder, water and chitosan solution. The structures of the sintered HAp samples were determined by MP-XRD. Hydroxyapatite has antibacteria properties against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli. The bacteria removal rate was 99.9%.

Paper products are widely used in daily life, while the lack of antibacterial activity has made them become some disease transmission media. Herein, we introduced NIR-responsive molybdenum disulfide nanosheets (MoS2) to endow nanocellulose paper antibacterial activity by electrostatic self-assembly with quaternized chitosan (QCS).
