Paper products are widely used in daily life, while the lack of antibacterial activity has made them become some disease transmission media. Herein, we introduced NIR-responsive molybdenum disulfide nanosheets (MoS2) to endow nanocellulose paper antibacterial activity by electrostatic self-assembly with quaternized chitosan (QCS).

Rapid Synthesis of Graphdiyne Films on Hydrogel at the Superspreading Interface for Antibacteria
ACS Nano, 2022Graphdiyne (GDY), a two-dimensional (2D) carbon material with diacetylenic linkages (-C≡C-C≡C-) structures, has attracted enormous attention in various fields. However, the controlled synthesis of GDY films is still challenging because of the low alkyne coupling efficiency and out-of-plane growth.

A Study on Antibacteria of Hydroxyapatite Filter
Journal of the Korean Ceramic Society, 2013A hydroxyapatite air filter was made with hydroxyapatite powder, water and chitosan solution. The structures of the sintered HAp samples were determined by MP-XRD. Hydroxyapatite has antibacteria properties against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli. The bacteria removal rate was 99.9%.
