Efficacy of Inebilizumab in N‐MOmentum Trial Participants With or Without Prior Immunosuppressants
ABSTRACT This post hoc analysis examined the impact of prior immunosuppressants on the long‐term efficacy and safety of inebilizumab, a cluster of differentiation 19+ B‐cell–depleting monoclonal antibody, in participants with aquaporin‐4–seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder from the N‐MOmentum trial (NTC02200770).

Utility of serological markers in inflammatory bowel diseases: Gadget or magic?
The panel of serologic markers for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) is rapidly expanding. Although anti-Saccharomyces cerevisiae antibodies (ASCA) and atypical perinuclear antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (P-ANCA) remain the most widely ...

Epitope mapping of antibodies using bacterial surface display
We describe a method for mapping the epitopes recognized by antibodies, based on bacterial surface expression of antigen protein fragments followed by antibody-based flow-cytometric sorting. We analyzed the binding sites of both monoclonal and polyclonal

BACTERIAL QUANTIFICATION AND ANTI-BACTERIAL ANTIBODIES IN OTITIS MEDIA WITH EFFUSION IN CHILDREN
Quantification of bacterial flora in middle ear effusions (MEE) and adenoids in children with otitis media with effusion (OME) was performed. IgG, IgA and IgM titers against H. influenzae, S. pneumoniae, S. mitis, S. sanguis, and S. salivarius were measured in MEE, sera and the supernatant of adenoid lymphocyte cultures.

Discordance Between Patient and Physician Global Assessments in Early Systemic Sclerosis
Objective This study aims to identify factors associated with patient global assessment (PtGA) and physician global assessment (PhGA) and discordance between them in systemic sclerosis (SSc). Methods Data from adults with early SSc (<5 years) from the Collaborative National Quality and Efficacy Registry were included.

Cellular delivery of antibodies: effective targeted subcellular imaging and new therapeutic tool
It is already more than a century since the pioneering work of the Nobel Laureate Ehrlich gave birth to the side chain theory1, which helped to define antibodies and their ability to target specific biological sites.

On the Transference of Bacterial Antibodies from the Hen to the Chick [PDF]
SUMMARY: Agglutinins against Salmonella pullorum and Salm. typhi (strain O 901) were induced in hens by intravenous inoculation with killed suspensions and were transferred to the yolks of their eggs. This transference of antibody continued throughout a laying season of about 280 days, and the relationship between the agglutinin titres of sera and ...

Immunosuppressive Drug Use in Limited Systemic Sclerosis: An International Survey
Objective Current guidelines recommend immunosuppressive treatment for diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis but are less clear on their use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) in the absence of internal organ complications. We conducted an international survey to understand current immunosuppressive drug prescribing patterns in lcSSc ...
