Antifouling Photograftable Zwitterionic Coatings on PDMS Substrates [PDF]
The foreign body response (FBR) to implantable materials can negatively impact performance of medical devices such as the cochlear implant. Engineering surfaces that resist the FBR could lead to enhanced functionality including potentially improving outcomes for cochlear implant recipients through reduction in fibrosis.

3D Printed Omniphobic Slippery Liquid Infused Porous Surfaces for Low Surface Tension Repellency
A 3D printing strategy fabricates omniphobic slippery liquid‐infused porous structures with lubricant reservoirs and interconnected microchannels. A post‐printing surface treatment modifies the porous surface to ensure compatibility with the infused fluorinated lubricant.

Biolipid Film‐Fused Electrochemiluminescence for Multipurpose In Situ Bioassays
An ECL‐emissive, membrane‐interactive scaffold was fabricated, and facilely fused with natural and non‐native phospholipids into multifactorial mimicries of cytomembranes and vesicles for in vitro representative membrane‐process probing. Such a biointerface‐based, state‐sensitive ECL paradigm not only pinpointed proximal phenomena, including channeling
