Copolymers based on charge‐shifting (DMAEA) and permanently charged (AETAC) cationic acrylates were copolymerized via the RAFT process to achieve polycations with well‐defined composition. Moderate content of AETAC did not affect hydrolysis rates but significantly enhanced heparin binding.

Rechargeable N‐Halamine Functionalized Ultra‐Thin PES Ultrafiltration Membranes
An automated 3D printer‐assisted casting platform is utilized to fabricate ultra‐thin polyethersulfone membranes with precise structural control. The integration of a custom‐synthesized, regenerable N‐halamine homopolymer imparts superior, cyclic antifouling resistance and rapid, broad‐spectrum antibacterial efficacy.

The aim of this work is to study the antifouling performance and water uptake behaviour of coatings formulated with papain (an environmentally friendly pigment). Antifouling coatings have been formulated using rosin (natural resin) as matrix and papain adsorbed in activated carbon as pigment.
