6‐Shogaol Attenuates Doxorubicin‐Induced Cardiac and Skeletal Muscle Atrophy by Inhibiting E3 Ubiquitin Ligases and Necroptosis

Doxorubicin induces cardiac and skeletal muscle atrophy by upregulating E3 ubiquitin ligases, inhibiting myogenic regulatory factors, and activating necroptosis. Cardiac atrophy can further exacerbate cardiotoxicity. 6‐Shogaol negatively regulates these processes and attenuates doxorubicin‐induced cardiac and skeletal muscle atrophy.

Valorization of Garcinia humilis Residues in Active Collagen/Starch Films for Biodegradable Packaging Applications

Residues from Garcinia humilis were used to obtain a phenolic‐rich extract (GHRE) and incorporated into collagen–starch films. The addition of GHRE improved antioxidant activity, thermal stability and elasticity, while reducing water vapour permeability.

A general and green approach of pH‐sensitive ZIF‐67 for encapsulating active substances

Zeolitic imidazolate framework‐67 (ZIF‐67) was successfully synthesized in deionized water for 2 h in this work; meanwhile, various active substances could be encapsulated in one‐pot with the same process, resulting in high loading rates. The study delved into the growth mechanism, morphological difference and loading capacity.
