Identification of TPRA1 as a Novel Receptor and Predictive Biomarker for Oncolytic Virus M1

This study identifies transmembrane protein adipocyte‐associated 1 (TPRA1) as a novel receptor for oncolytic virus M1 (OVM). TPRA1's ectodomain binds OVM particles, while its intracellular domain facilitates virus internalization, promoting efficient viral entry.

A remarkable dual‐ligand strategy is employed in Rh‐catalyzed sequential coupling reaction of dinucleophiles and 1,3‐enynes with high regio‐ and chemo‐selectivity. Abstract Controlling regio‐ and chemo‐selectivity in transition‐metal‐catalyzed reactions involving coupling reagents with multiple reactive sites remains a significant challenge.

Punicalagin, a pomegranate molecule, helps the body fight Mycobacterium abscessus. It preferentially boosts interstitial macrophages in the lung, stabilizing mitochondria and switching on the autophagy via SIRT1/FoxO3a, which lowers bacterial load without directly killing bacteria.
