Infantile systemic hyalinosis: Variable grades of severity
Background: Infantile systemic hyalinosis (ISH) is an autosomal recessively inherited disorder. The classical natural history of the disease is characterised by hypotonia, multiple contractures, skin lesions, osteopenia, joint pain, bone fractures ...

Disulfide bonds in the ectodomain of anthrax toxin receptor 2 are required for the receptor-bound protective-antigen pore to function. [PDF]
Cell-surface receptors play essential roles in anthrax toxin action by providing the toxin with a high-affinity anchor and self-assembly site on the plasma membrane, mediating the toxin entry into cells through endocytosis, and shifting the pH threshold ...

The tachykinin hemokinin-1 (HK-1) is involved in immunological processes, inflammation, and pain. Although the neurokinin 1 receptor (NK1R) is described as its main target, several effects are mediated by currently unidentified receptor(s).

Investigating the role of Antxr2 in skeletal muscle extracellular matrix remodeling
reservedThe extracellular matrix (ECM) is essential for the proper organization of cells into tissues and coordinates their functions by modulating intracellular signals, controlling cell growth, proliferation, migration and viability.

Antxr2 is required for murine parturition.
(A) Genotyping of offspring from Antxr2+/− intercrosses revealed that Antxr2−/− mice are viable. (B) RT-PCR analysis of Antxr2 transcript expression in Antxr2+/+ and Antxr2−/− MEFs.

ANTXR2 and MT1-MMP colocalize and are found in complex.
(A) Coimmunofluorescence for Mt1-mmp (green color) and Antxr2 (red color) on Antxr2+/+ and Antxr2−/− MEFs demonstrate that MT1-MMP and ANTXR2 colocalize at the cell surface (orange). DAPI (blue color) is used for nuclear staining. Scale bars, 5 µm.

SPR‐UPLC‐QTOF/MS‐GNPS‐guided screening identified hypermonol J (HPJ) as a high‐affinity TNF‐binding small molecule. HPJ may stabilize TNF dimers, reduce active trimer formation, and suppress TNFR1/NF‐κB signaling, thereby alleviating inflammatory pathology in psoriasis and acute lung injury models.

ANTXR2 Binding to PA Domains 2 and 4
Ribbon model of the PA-ANTXR2 complex generated with UCSF Chimera [32]. PA domains 2 (D2) and 4 (D4) are shown in dark cyan and aquamarine, respectively, and the remainder of PA is depicted in gray.
