Background:Malabaddha (constipation) is a commonly encountered Annavaha and Purishvaha Srotodushti in Ayurvedic clinical practice. It primarily arises due to Vata prakopa, particularly Apana Vata vaiguṇya, associated with Agnimandya and Rukṣa guṇa predominance in Pakvashaya.
