Serpentine Biocrust Microbes Maintain Nitrogen Cycling Under Drought and Heavy Metal Stress
This study highlights the complex interplay between soil geochemistry and moisture availability in shaping microbial communities within wetter and drier serpentine and non‐serpentine biological soil crusts. It demonstrates that both factors influence the structure of nitrogen‐cycling microbial communities and the processes they mediate.

ERK5 cKO mice have smaller accessory olfactory bulb (AOB).
A, ERK5 deletion results in a smaller AOB at P28 and 6 months of age. B, There are fewer NeuN+ neurons in the AOB of ERK5 cKO mice at P28 and 6 months.

The Accessory Olfactory Bulb in Arvicola scherman: A Neuroanatomical Study in a Subterranean Mammal
The accessory olfactory bulb (AOB) processes chemical signals crucial for species-specific socio-sexual behaviors. There is limited information about the AOB of wild rodents, and this study aims to characterize the neurochemical organization of the AOB ...

Risk factors for anterior open bite: A case–control study
Background: Anterior open bite (AOB) is noteworthy because it is a complex dysplasia, and clinical studies on this malocclusion are usually epidemiological studies or experimental models with small samples and no control group, which renders the data on ...

Intranasal PenArg achieved broad brain delivery and improved mitochondrial function in a UQCRC1‐mutant Parkinson's disease model. Chronic treatment preserved dopaminergic neurons, improved motor performance, reduced neuroinflammatory and systemic inflammatory responses, and attenuated skeletal muscle pathology.

Acoustic Oceanographic Buoy testing during the Maritime Rapid Environmental Assessment 2003 sea trial [PDF]
This paper proposes an innovative concept that responds to the requirements of acoustic REA as the integration between a network of sophisticated Acoustic-Oceanographic Buoys (AOB) and online ocean properties inversion algorithms.

The Inversion In(2L)t Impacts Complex, Temperature‐Sensitive Behaviors in Drosophila melanogaster
The genomic inversion In(2L)t has been shown to alter many phenotypes in Drosophila melangaster in a manner thought to mediates melanogaster's seasonal adaptation. We use modern high‐throughput tools to demonstrate that In(2L)t genotype has pronounced impact of areas of melanogaster behavior including activity, startle response, and exploration around ...
