Detection of aortic graft infection by fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography: Comparison with computed tomographic findings [PDF]
ObjectiveRadionuclide imaging with fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) and positron emission tomography (PET) has been proposed for the identification of vascular graft infection; however, its accuracy has not been determined. We performed this prospective study to

SURGELLA: A Scoping Review of Impella‐Assisted Hemodynamic Support in High‐Risk Non‐Cardiac Surgery
In selected patients with severe LV dysfunction, Impella‐supported non‐cardiac surgery may provide a temporary hemodynamic bridge to otherwise prohibitive procedures. Published evidence remains limited to a small number of highly selected cases, supporting technical feasibility rather than comparative benefit or generalizable safety.

Experimental Extracorporeal Circulation System: A Pilot Study in Rats
A miniature extracorporeal circulation (ECC) system was developed for reproducible rodent studies. This system incorporates an integrated heat exchanger and a silicone membrane oxygenator within a double‐lumen circuit, resulting in an ultralow priming volume of < 1.5 mL.

Novel therapeutic targets for chronic visceral pain in gastrointestinal disorders
Chronic visceral pain imposes a major clinical challenge in gastroenterology and beyond, profoundly impacting patients' quality of life. However, limited understanding of its complex, multifaceted pathophysiology, encompassing both peripheral and central mechanisms, continues to impede the development of effective management strategies.
