Shaded Apertures and Bartlet Apertures for Two Line Resolutions on Aperture Shaping

open access: yesJournal of Advance Research in Applied Science (ISSN: 2208-2352), 2015
Several criteria of resolution, e.g. Rayleigh Criterion, Sparrow Criterion etc. are used for assessment of two line resolution of unobscured imaging systems. The choice of particular criterion is usually dictated by the threshold contrast sensitivity of the detector used for the purpose.

High Entropy Wide‐Bandgap Borates with Broadband Luminescence and Large Nonlinear Optical properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐entropy rare‐earth borates exhibit excellent nonlinear optical and broadband luminescence properties arising from multi‐component doping, chemical disorder, increased configurational entropy, and increased lattice and electronic anharmonicity. This formulation enabled us to obtain a large, environmentally stable single crystal with 3X higher laser‐

3D‐Printed Porous Hydroxyapatite Formed via Enzymatic Mineralization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bone combines lightness, strength, and the ability to heal, inspiring new materials design. This work introduces a room‐temperature, enzyme‐mediated 3D printing method to create porous hydroxyapatite scaffolds. The process avoids energy‐intensive sintering, preserves bioactivity, and allows control over porosity and mineralization.

Programmable In‐Situ Interactions Between Resins and Photopolymerized Structures for Seamlessly Integrated Optical Manufacturing of Microlenses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a dynamic interaction between liquid resins and photopolymerized structures enabled by an in situ light‐writing setup. By controlling a three‐phase interface through localized photopolymerization, which provides physical confinement for the remaining uncured resin regions, the approach establishes a programmable pathway that ...
