The Aphidiinae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonoidea: Braconidae) of Greece
Phytoparasitica, 2001Keys for the identification of genera and species of the subfamily Aphidiinae which occur in Greece as well as the observed parasitoid — aphid relations on various host plants are presented.

Aphid Parasitoids: Aphidiinae (Hym., Braconidae)
2021Various aspects of the knowledge on the aphid parasitoids (Hymenoptera, Aphidiinae) with regards to the biological control of pest aphids are presented. The aphidiines are exclusively associated with aphids and can be found in various natural and agro-ecosystems.

A survey of aphid parasitoids (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae) in Diyarbakır, Turkey
Phytoparasitica, 2003A list is given of aphid parasitoids found in Diyarbakir Province, Turkey. In the survey, performed between 1998 and 2000, 16 species of aphid parasitoids were found on different hosts in Diyarbakir Province.Monoctonus mali is reported for the first time in the Turkish aphid parasitoids fauna.

Identification of molecular markers for DNA barcoding in the Aphidiinae (Hym. Braconidae)
Molecular Ecology Resources, 2011AbstractReliable identification of Aphidiinae species (Braconidae) is a prerequisite for conducting studies on aphid–parasitoid interactions at the community level. However, morphological identification of Aphidiinae species remains problematic even for specialists and is almost impossible with larval stages.

To the knowledge of the aphidiine wasps (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae) from China
ZootaxaA new species of the aphidiine parasitoid Binodoxys yunnanicus Davidian, sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Yunnan Province, China. This species is characterised by long filiform antenna, large wings, narrow petiole of metasoma, long ovipositor sheaths, and almost straight prongs with four long setae on their dorsal margin and one long apical ...

AbstractMolecular methods are increasingly used to detect and identify parasites in their hosts. However, existing methods are generally not appropriate for studying complex host–parasite interactions because they require prior knowledge of species composition.

Are generalist Aphidiinae (Hym. Braconidae) mostly cryptic species complexes?
Systematic Entomology, 2015Abstract Aphidiinae are mostly composed of specialist parasitoids and the few species described as generalist are suspected to be composed of cryptic specialists, almost indistinguishable based on morphological characteristics.

The mouthparts of some common genera of Aphidiinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)
Proceedings of the Royal Entomological Society of London. Series A, General Entomology, 1966SYNOPSIS The mouth parts of eleven genera of Aphidiinae are described, and the chaetotaxy of the mentum and stipes is illustrated.
