The first emergence of paramyxovirus type 12 in wild birds in mainland, China [PDF]
: Avian paramyxoviruses (APMV) belong to the subfamily Avulavirinae of the family Paramyxoviridae and include 22 distinct subtypes or serotypes (1–22). Avian paramyxovirus serotype 12 (APMV-12) is found sporadically in wild birds worldwide, and reports ...

Optimization and Validation of Universal Real-Time RT-PCR Assay to Detect Virulent Newcastle Disease Viruses [PDF]
Newcastle disease, caused by virulent strains of avian paramyxovirus 1 (APMV-1), occurs globally and has significant social and economic impact. APMV-1 is a rapidly evolving RNA virus and is genetically divided into class I and class II with almost all ...

Development Adaptive Predicted Mean Vote (aPMV) Model for Naturally Ventilated Buildings in Zunyi, China [PDF]
Fanger’s predicted mean vote (PMV) model which is as a result of climate-chamber-based experiments is a good tool to evaluate indoor thermal comfort for air-conditioned buildings in global wide. However, PMV model has defect of predicting people’s real thermal sensation under non-air-conditioned conditions.

Molecular-Genetics Studies of New Unknown APMV Isolated from Wild Bird in Ukraine
New APMV was isolated from white fronted goose in Ukraine. This isolate was tested serologically using monoclonal antibodies in haemagglutination-inhibition tests against APMV1-9. As the results obtained isolate showed cross reactions with APMV7. Following investigations were provided for the full genome sequencing using random primers and cloning into
