There is a well-known relationship between the binary Pascal's triangle and Sierpinski triangle in which the latter obtained from the former by successive modulo 2 additions on one of its corners. Inspired by that, we define a binary Apollonian network and obtain two structures featuring a kind of dendritic growth.

High-dimensional Apollonian networks [PDF]
We propose a simple algorithm which produces high dimensional Apollonian networks with both small-world and scale-free characteristics. We derive analytical expressions for the degree distribution, the clustering coefficient and the diameter of the networks, which are determined by their dimension.

Liquid Phase TEM of Diffusing Emulsion Droplets. [PDF]
Motion of emulsion droplets was observed via in situ liquid phase transmission electron microscopy. Analysis revealed that the motion is self‐affine and influenced by multiple stochastic processes, as well as a fractal landscape created by the electron beam.

Apollonian metric, uniformity and Gromov hyperbolicity [PDF]
The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the properties of a mapping which is required to be roughly bilipschitz with respect to the Apollonian metric (roughly Apollonian bilipschitz) of its domain.

« Écoutez mes chants d’universelle ivrognerie » : Alcools d’Apollinaire face au Dionysos nietzschéen
While inebriation is not a new theme in poetry, as is evidenced from the Greek dithyramb to Rimbaud’s “Bateau ivre”, the objective of this article is to demonstrate that the sources of inspiration for Alcools are not only poetic, but also philosophical ...
