The apostolic and sub-apostolic writings: the New Testament and the Apostolic Fathers

2004
The expression 'Apostolic Fathers' corresponds to an idea of seventeenth century origin. The primitive Christian literature takes a variety of forms, but by far the most frequent form is that of the letter. In the Roman-Hellenistic world letters were a common, if not frequent, means of communication among ordinary folk, for personal or business ...

A note on the Apostol--Bernoulli and Apostol--Euler polynomials

Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 2013
Let alpha is an element of N-0 = {0, 1, 2,.}. In this paper, we show provide several relationships between the generalized Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials B-n((alpha))(x; lambda) and the generalized Apostol-Euler polynomials E-n((alpha)) (x; lambda) which involve both the main results of LUO-SRIVASTAVA in [Q.-M. Generalization of an identity of Apostol

J. Integer Seq., 2018
Summary: We extend and generalize an identity of Apostol involving Bernoulli numbers, to every sequence of complex numbers. Moreover, our result allows us to obtain other relations involving Appell polynomial sequences and second-order linear recurrence sequences.

The Epistula draws selectively from the Gospels of John and Matthew, while disagreeing with its sources ...

The Apostolic Ministry

Scottish Journal of Theology, 1948
The Apostolic Ministry is a volume of outstanding importance, as Professor Burleigh points out in his review, not only because of its wealth of learning but because in many respects it represents a change of front on the part of Anglicans in the realisation that it is ultimately upon theological grounds that a true conception of the ministry must rest.
