Complete orthogonal Appell systems for spherical monogenics
In this paper, we investigate properties of Gelfand-Tsetlin bases mainly for spherical monogenics, that is, for spinor valued or Clifford algebra valued homogeneous solutions of the Dirac equation in the Euclidean space.

On the dual nature of partial theta functions and Appell-Lerch sums
In recent work, Hickerson and the author demonstrated that it is useful to think of Appell--Lerch sums as partial theta functions. This notion can be used to relate identities involving partial theta functions with identities involving Appell--Lerch sums.

The Geometry of the Gibbs-Appell Equations and Gauss' Principle of Least Constraint [PDF]
We present a generalisation of the Gibbs-Appell equations which is valid for general Lagrangians. The general form of the Gibbs-Appell equations is shown to be valid in the case when constraints and external forces are present.

Expansions of distributions in terms of generalized heat polynominals and their Appell transforms
This paper is concerned with expansions of distributions in terms of the generalized heat polynomials and of their Appell transforms. Two different techniques are used to prove theorems concerning expansions of distributions.

Pre‐IPO Tokens: Trading in the Dark
ABSTRACT Pre‐IPO tokens offer a new way for individual investors to access the private equity markets. However, without access to the private firm or to regulated public disclosures, token traders operate under extreme information asymmetry. This paper examines the behavior of the pre‐IPO token market around private funding events, such as venture ...

Trading Zones Between Thick and Thin: Anthropological Description as Scaffold or Mosaic
ABSTRACT Referring to the work of historian of science Peter Galison, I argue that anthropology requires thin description as an essential counterpart for thick description. Thin accounts provide the scaffolding within which thick descriptions sit. Galison uses the idea of a “trading zone” connecting different communities who, despite their differences (

Advancements in q-Hermite-Appell polynomials: a three-dimensional exploration
In this research, we leverage various $ q $-calculus identities to introduce the notion of $ q $-Hermite-Appell polynomials involving three variables, elucidating their formalism.

Generalized Fractional Integral Formulas for the k-Bessel Function
The aim of this paper is to deal with two integral transforms involving the Appell function as their kernels. We prove some compositions formulas for generalized fractional integrals with k-Bessel function.

Decomposition formulas for some quadruple hypergeometric series
In the present work, the authors obtained operator identities and decomposition formulas for second order Gauss hypergeometric series of four variables into products containing simpler hypergeometric functions. A Choi–Hasanov method based on the inverse

On a family of q-modified-Laguerre-Appell polynomials
This paper aims to introduce a new class of special polynomials called q-modified Laguerre-Appell polynomials. Some definitions and concepts related to this class of polynomials, including generating function and series definition are explored.
