Uniform Design: Theory and Application
Technometrics, 2000A uniform design (UD) seeks design points that are uniformly scattered on the domain. It has been popular since 1980. A survey of UD is given in the first portion: The fundamental idea and construction method are presented and discussed and examples are given for illustration.

Quasi-Uniform Codes and Their Applications
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2013Quasi-uniform random vectors have probability distributions that are uniform over their projections. They are of fundamental interest because a linear information inequality is valid if and only if it is satisfied by all quasi-uniform random vectors. In this paper, we investigate properties of codes induced by quasi-uniform random vectors.

Application of Uniform Terminology to Practice
The American Journal of Occupational Therapy, 1989his document was developed to help occupa· tional therapists apply Uniform Terminology Second Edition to practice. A grid format (Dunn, 1988) allows a therapist to systematically identify an individual's deficit and strength areas and to select appropriate activities to address these areas in occupational therapy intervention.

The Logistic-Uniform Distribution and Its Applications
Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, 2014In this article, we give a new family of univariate distributions generated by the Logistic random variable. A special case of this family is the Logistic-Uniform distribution. We show that the Logistic-Uniform distribution provides great flexibility in modeling for symmetric, negatively and positively skewed, bathtub-shaped, “J”-shaped, and reverse “J”

Implementation of Aerial Application System for Application Uniformity
The aim of this study was to prevent the decrease in crop output by disease and insect pests and excessive spraying of agricultural pesticides by application uniformity. A 3m height and 15km/h speed is difficult to maintain with an unmanned helicopter for aerial application, which has been affected by the controlling habits and methods or environmental

Optimization Letters, 2021
This paper deals with the study of a new subclass of convex functions, namely uniformly convex functions. In fact, this class is a slight extension of the class introduced earlier by \textit{C. Zalinescu} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 95, 344--374 (1983; Zbl 0519.49010); Convex analysis in general vector spaces.

Optimal data scheduling for uniform multidimensional applications
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1996Summary: Uniform nested loops are broadly used in scientific and multidimensional digital signal processing applications. Due to the amount of data handled by such applications, on-chip memory is required to improve the data access and overall system performance.

Colourings of Uniform Hypergraphs with Large Girth and Applications
Combinatorics, Probability and Computing, 2017This paper deals with a combinatorial problem concerning colourings of uniform hypergraphs with large girth. We prove that ifHis ann-uniform non-r-colourable simple hypergraph then its maximum edge degree Δ(H) satisfies the inequality$$ \Delta(H)\geqslant c\cdot r^{n-1}\ffrac{n(\ln\ln n)^2}{\ln n} $$for some absolute constantc> 0.As an application ...

The \(\Gamma\)-uniform distribution and its applications
Kybernetika, 2012Summary: Up to present for modelling and analyzing of random phenomenons, some statistical distributions are proposed. This paper considers a new general class of distributions, generated from the logit of the \(\Gamma\) random variable. A special case of this family is the \textit{\(\Gamma\)-uniform} distribution.
