Silicoaluminophosphate Molecular Sieves SAPO-11 and SAPO-41: Synthesis, Properties, and Applications for Hydroisomerization of C16+ n-Paraffins. Part 2: Current State of Research on Methods to Control the Crystal Morphology, Dispersion, Acidic Properties, Secondary Porous Structure, and Catalytic Properties of SAPO-11 and SAPO-41 in Hydroisomerization of C16+ n-Paraffins (A Review)

Petroleum Chemistry, 2021
The second part of the review presents the results of research on SAPO-11 and SAPO-41 molecular sieves over the last three decades, with particular emphasis on methods to control the acid properties, morphology, and secondary porous characteristics of these molecular sieves, as well as on the catalytic applications of SAPO-11 and SAPO-41 for ...

Application of the seed-film method for the preparation of structured molecular sieve catalysts

Catalysis Today, 2001
Abstract The seed-film method has been applied for the preparation of various materials of potential interest as structured molecular sieve catalysts. The method has proven to be very flexible and allows for the reproducible preparation of a number of molecular sieve–substrate combinations as well as the control of the materials’ properties of ...

Application of the Sieve Method to the Enumeration of Stable Stereo and Position Isomers of a Series of Deoxycyclitols

Journal of Chemical Information and Computer Sciences, 1997
A pattern inventory is developed for the enumeration of stable stereo and position isomers of any series of deoxycyclitols with the formula (CH2)p(CHOH)q where p(CH2) and q(CHOH) groups form a ring system of size n = (p + q). The counting method consists of two steps:  firstly the application of POLYA's counting theorem gives the number of permutation ...

An Application of Sieve Methods to Elliptic Curves

2001
Let E be an elliptic curve defined over the rationals. Koblitz conjectured that the number of primes p ? x such that the number of points |E(Fp)| on the curve over the finite field of p elements has prime order is asymptotic to CEx/(log x)2 for some constant CE. We consider curves without complex multiplication.

Facile synthesis of Co-SBA-16 mesoporous molecular sieves with EISA method and their applications for hydroxylation of benzene

Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, 2014
Abstract A series of cobalt-doped SBA-16 (Co-SBA-16) mesoporous molecular sieves with different Co/Si ratio have been directly synthesized by the evaporation induced self-assembly (EISA) method. Characterizations with XRF, XRD, TEM and N 2 adsorption–desorption measurements demonstrate that the resultant materials remain a relative ordered cubic ...

Problems raised by the application of the usual methods of process identification to the determination of diffusion coefficient of gases in molecular sieves

Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, 1977
A method is presented for measuring diffusion coefficient in molecular sieves where gas adsorption in the sieve does not appear because the experimental temperature pressure conditions are far from equilibrium liquid-vapour conditions. The method determines the relation which connects the pressure variation of gas in a system formed by a cell ...

Synthesis of AlPO4 Molecular Sieves with AFI and AEL Structures by Dry-Gel Conversion Method and Catalytic Application of Their SAPO Counterparts on Isopropylation of Biphenyl

Journal of Porous Materials, 2002
AlPO4-5 and AlPO4-11 were synthesized by dry-gel conversion (DGC) method. Steam-assisted conversion (SAC) and vapor-phase transport (VPT) techniques were applied for this purpose. The synthesis was successful in presence of a certain minimum amount of external bulk water, without which the crystallization failed.
