The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

A Novel Approximate Constant Multiplier and HEVC Discrete Cosine Transform Case Study
Approximate computing is used for error tolerant applications to design faster, smaller area and lower power consuming hardware than exact optimized hardware designs by trading off speed, area and power consumption with quality.

Transcripts enriched in codons that trigger P‐site tRNA‐mediated mRNA decay possess stable mRNA
PTMD codons were first described by Mendel et al. as mediators of an mRNA decay pathway dependent on the human protein CNOT3, homologous to yeast Not5. Our findings confirm that PTMD codons destabilize transcripts; however, unlike in yeast, the human pathway specifically targets and slightly destabilizes primarily stable mRNAs.

Approximate Conservation Laws of Nonvariational Differential Equations
The concept of an approximate multiplier (integrating factor) is introduced. Such multipliers are shown to give rise to approximate local conservation laws for differential equations that admit a small perturbation.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Low-power approximate multiplier with error recovery using a new approximate 4-2 compressor
In this paper we propose an energy-efficient approximate multiplier which uses a new approximate 4-2 compressor. The proposed compressor has a low error probability and its error conditions can be easily detected.

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

ABSTRACT Objective In multiple sclerosis, the optimal time for deploying a therapeutic intervention is before the central nervous system is damaged; given the success of trials treating the earliest stage of MS, the radiologically isolated syndrome, developing primary prevention strategies is an important next challenge.

A novel heterogeneous approximate multiplier for low power and high performance
Approximate computing is a design paradigm considered for a range of applications that can tolerate some loss of accuracy. In fact, the bottleneck in conventional digital design techniques can be eliminated to achieve higher performance and energy ...
