Approximation by Overactivated and Spiked Convolutions as Positive Linear Operators
In this work, the author studied the quantitative approximation to the unit operator of three kinds of overactivated and spiked convolution type-operators.

We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Conditioning Gaussian measure on Hilbert space [PDF]
For a Gaussian measure on a separable Hilbert space with covariance operator $C$, we show that the family of conditional measures associated with conditioning on a closed subspace $S^{\perp}$ are Gaussian with covariance operator the short $\mathcal{S}(C)

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

Degree of L-approximation by certain positive convolution operators
AbstractThe degree of Lp-approximation for a class of positive convolution operators is investigated. Recent results of De Vore, Bojanic, and Shisha for the uniform approximation by these operators and the K-functional of Peetre are employed to obtain the degree of approximation in terms of the integral modulus of smoothness.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Approximation by Szász-Jakimovski-Leviatan-Type Operators via Aid of Appell Polynomials
The main purpose of the present article is to construct a newly Szász-Jakimovski-Leviatan-type positive linear operators in the Dunkl analogue by the aid of Appell polynomials.

Sharp estimates of approximation by some positive linear operators [PDF]
Recently, Varshney and Singh [Rend. Mat. (6) 2 (1982), 219–225] have given sharper quantitative estimates of convergence for Bernstein polynomials, Szasz and Meyer-Konig-Zeller operators. We have achieved improvement over these estimates by taking moments of higher order.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
