A Note on Two-Stage Fuzzy Location Problems Under VaR Criterion With Irregular Fuzzy Variables

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Recently, Yang et al. (Computers & Industrial Engineering, 131: 157–171, 2019) proposed a solution approach to the two-stage fuzzy location problem under the Value-at-Risk (VaR) criterion, which significantly reduced the computational ...

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

Cellular Responses to Mechanical Cues Across Scales: From Fundamental Insights to Translational Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Deriving Fuzzy Inequalities Using Discrete Approximation of Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yesInternational Journal of Industrial Engineering and Production Research, 2013
Most of the researches in the domain of fuzzy number comparisons serve the fuzzy number ordering purpose. For making a comparison between two fuzzy numbers, beyond the determination of their order, it is needed to derive the magnitude of their order.

Anomalous Crystallinity and Magnetism in Chemically Disordered Coherent Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Coherent isostructural high‐entropy oxide heterostructures are realized despite remarkable >5% interfacial lattice distortion. The resulting buried interface exhibits abrupt valence reconstruction which contributes to 2 × enhanced exchange bias in the heterostructure relative to constituent layers, demonstrating how chemical disorder enabled anomalous ...
