ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...

Visual Recovery Reflects Cortical MeCP2 Sensitivity in Rett Syndrome
ABSTRACT Objective Rett syndrome (RTT) is a devastating neurodevelopmental disorder with developmental regression affecting motor, sensory, and cognitive functions. Sensory disruptions contribute to the complex behavioral and cognitive difficulties and represent an important target for therapeutic interventions.

Researches on the problem of link disjoint paths pair with QoS constraints
The problem of link disjoint paths pair with QoS constraints was discussed. Two routing models about link dis-joint optimal paths pair with QoS constraints were constructed.First it proved that the problem of link disjoint paths pair in the undirected ...

STABILITY OF MOTION OF RAILWAY VEHICLES DESCRIBED WITH LAGRANGE EQUATIONS OF THE FIRST KIND
Purpose. The article aims to estimate the stability of the railway vehicle motion, whose oscillations are described by Lagrange equations of the first kind under the assumption that there are no nonlinearities with discontinuities of the right-hand sides.

Reduced Muscular Carnosine in Proximal Myotonic Myopathy—A Pilot 1H‐MRS Study
ABSTRACT Objective Myotonic dystrophy type 2 (proximal myotonic myopathy, PROMM) is a progressive multisystem disorder with muscular symptoms (proximal weakness, pain, myotonia) and systemic manifestations such as diabetes mellitus, cataracts, and cardiac arrhythmias.

Line Integral Solution of Hamiltonian Systems with Holonomic Constraints
In this paper, we propose a second-order energy-conserving approximation procedure for Hamiltonian systems with holonomic constraints. The derivation of the procedure relies on the use of the so-called line integral framework.

Finite-Dimensional Gaussian Approximation with Linear Inequality Constraints [PDF]
Introducing inequality constraints in Gaussian process (GP) models can lead to more realistic uncertainties in learning a great variety of real-world problems. We consider the finite-dimensional Gaussian approach from Maatouk and Bay (2017) which can satisfy inequality conditions everywhere (either boundedness, monotonicity or convexity).

Remote Monitoring in Myasthenia Gravis: Exploring Symptom Variability
ABSTRACT Background Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a rare, autoimmune disorder characterized by fluctuating muscle weakness and potential life‐threatening crises. While continuous specialized care is essential, access barriers often delay timely interventions. To address this, we developed MyaLink, a telemedical platform for MG patients.

A cost function approximation method for dynamic vehicle routing with docking and LIFO constraints
In this paper, we study a dynamic pickup and delivery problem with docking constraints. There is a homogeneous fleet of vehicles to serve pickup-and-delivery requests at given locations.

New Integrality Gap Results for the Firefighters Problem on Trees
The firefighter problem is NP-hard and admits a $(1-1/e)$ approximation based on rounding the canonical LP. In this paper, we first show a matching integrality gap of $(1-1/e+\epsilon)$ on the canonical LP.
