A Novel Congestion Controller With Prescribed Settling Time for TCP/AQM Network System
IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, 2022This paper studies the congestion control problem with prescribed settling time of nonlinear TCP/AQM network system. With the continuous improvement of users' requirements for network quality of service, it is a challenging task to quickly recover from ...

Design a Robust Fractional order TID Controller for Congestion Avoidance in TCP/AQM system
International Computer Science and Engineering Conference, 2022The most important problem that effect on data flow efficiency in network systems the congestion problem, to obtain a stable behavior in TCP/AQM systems, an active queue management (AQM) is adopted for solving congestion and guarantee regular path for ...

OSS-AQM: An Open-Source Software Quality Model for Automated Quality Measurement
International Conference on Data and Software Engineering, 2022Open-source software is growing in popularity today and has been used as a software tool or as a component in software development within organizations. Selecting quality open-source software is a challenging task. Several open-source quality models have

Adaptive finite time congestion tracking control for TCP/AQM system with input-saturation
International Journal of Systems Science, 2021In this paper, the finite time tracking control issue of the TCP/AQM system with input saturation and non-response flows such as UDP is studied. A novel AQM control algorithm is proposed by combining finite time control, prescribed performance control ...

Active queue management (AQM) is essential to prevent the degradation of quality of service in TCP/AQM systems with round-trip time (RTT) delay. RTT delays are primarily caused by packet-propagation delays, but they can also be caused by the processing ...

Oblivious AQM and Nash equilibria
IEEE INFOCOM 2003. Twenty-second Annual Joint Conference of the IEEE Computer and Communications Societies (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37428), 2002An oblivious active queue management scheme is one which does not differentiate between packets belonging to different flows. In this paper, we study the existence and the quality of Nash equilibria imposed by oblivious AQM schemes on selfish agents. Oblivious AQM schemes are of obvious importance because of the ease of implementation and deployment ...

Detecting and handling network congestion in the Internet has, again, become a vital area of research. The provisioning of low latency together with high throughput is of particular interest due to the current mix of applications running in the Internet. Active Queue Management (AQM) mechanisms come with the promise of reducing queuing delays.

In this paper two important problems, i.e. Denial of Service (DoS) attack and saturated input, are considered for the TCP/AQM system. The first problem is modelled in a quantitative manner over the system dynamics.

AQM stability in multiple bottleneck networks
2004 IEEE International Conference on Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37577), 2004In this paper, we highlight that multiple bottlenecks can affect the performance of active queue management controllers, which are usually configured on a single bottleneck basis, as if each controller were the only element regulating the TCP traffic along its path.
