Chronology of the development of Active Queue Management algorithms of RED family. Part 1: from 1993 up to 2005

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Models and Applied Computational Science, 2023
This work is the first part of a large bibliographic review of active queue management algorithms of the Random Early Detection (RED) family, presented in the scientific press from 1993 to 2023.

Versatile Direct (Hetero)Arylation Polymerization of Electro-Deficient Unsubstituted Thiazolo[5,4-d]Thiazole: A Tool to Lower the LUMO Level. [PDF]

open access: yesMacromol Rapid Commun
An unsubstituted thiazolo[5,4‐d]thiazole (TzTz) unit is used to synthesize a series of novel semiconducting polymers via eco‐friendly direct arylation polymerization. These TzTz‐based copolymers, with various electron‐withdrawing comonomers, display optical bandgaps of 1.5–2.0 eV and strong thermal stability.

Video Conferencing and Flow-Rate Fairness: A First Look at Zoom and the Impact of Flow-Queuing AQM [PDF]

open access: yesPassive and Active Network Measurement Conference, 2021
Congestion control is essential for the stability of the Internet and the corresponding algorithms are commonly evaluated for interoperability based on flow-rate fairness.

Harmful Effects of Ambient Nitrogen Dioxide on Atopic Dermatitis: Comparison of Exposure Assessment Based on Monitored Concentrations and Modeled Estimates

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2020
Precise exposure assessment of air pollutants is crucial in epidemiologic studies to ensure valid estimates of health effects. We conducted a longitudinal study to evaluate the role of air quality monitoring (AQM) measurements and high-resolution ...

Dual Queue Coupled AQM: Deployable Very Low Queuing Delay for All [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv.org, 2022
On the Internet, sub-millisecond queueing delay and capacity-seeking have traditionally been considered mutually exclusive. We introduce a service that offers both: Low Latency Low Loss Scalable throughput (L4S).

An Adaptive Active Queue Management Based on Model Predictive Control

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In recent years, active queue management (AQM) has gained more and more attention as an important part of network congestion control. Although there are many AQM algorithms, these algorithms show weaknesses to detect and control congestion due to the ...

Non-Stationary Characteristics of AQM Based on the Queue Length

open access: yesItalian National Conference on Sensors, 2023
We performed a non-stationary analysis of a class of buffer management schemes for TCP/IP networks, in which the arriving packets were rejected randomly, with probability depending on the queue length.

Atlantic-Pacific influence on western U.S. hydroclimate and water resources

open access: yesnpj Climate and Atmospheric Science, 2023
The El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) in the tropical Pacific Ocean is an important driver of winter precipitation variability over western North America as a whole, but ENSO exhibits a weak and inconsistent relationship with precipitation in several ...

EF-AQM: Efficient and Fair Bandwidth Allocation AQM Scheme for Wireless Networks [PDF]

open access: yes2010 2nd International Conference on Computational Intelligence, Communication Systems and Networks, 2010
Heterogeneous Wireless Networks are considered nowadays as one of the potential areas in research and development. The traffic management schemes that have been used at the fusion points between the different wireless networks are classical and conventional.
