The transmethylation processes in the aqueous humour and in the lens
Experimental Eye Research, 1964Some nicotinic acid derivatives have been determined chromatographically in the aqueous humour and in the lenses of normal human and ox eyes and eyes with cataract. In these two tissues transmethylation and formation of nicotinic acid and its derivatives from tryptophan occur regularly in normal eyes.

Glyoxal Ozonation Process in Aqueous Solution
Ozone: Science & Engineering, 1989Abstract The process of ozonation of glyoxal in aqueous solution has been studied by following its chemical and kinetic evolution. Results show that the oxidative process leads to formation of carboxylic functions and carbon dioxide according to a constant selectivity ratio at varying conversion degree..

Transport processes of actinides in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions
Journal of the Less Common Metals, 1986Abstract In order to provide data for the optimization of the Purex process, actinides have been investigated in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions of practical importance. The diffusion coefficients of Th(NO3)4, U(NO3)4, Np(NO3)4, NpO2NO3, NpO2(NO3)2, Pu(NO3)4, PuO2(NO3)2 in aqueous HNO3 and of PuCl3 in HCl solution have been determined by use of an ...

Aqueous processing of lupin seed
International Journal of Food Science and Technology, 1983Abstract Processing of two species of lupin seed by an aqueous extraction process has been explored and the resulting products have been examined. It has been shown that aqueous processing is an effective method for the separation of oil, protein and alkaloids of lupin seeds.

Charging Processes of Na4mn9o18 Electrode in Aqueous Electrolyte
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2022Recent trends in electrochemical energy storage –the renewed interest in aqueous electrolytes, the development of nanostructured and/or hybridized materials, the advent of unconventional systems– call for detailed analyses of charging processes. We address this issue in studying a sodium manganese oxide (Na4Mn9O18, NMO) electrode in aqueous environment.

Processing of composites in aqueous media
Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 1997Abstract Two processing routes for the composite system Al 2 O 3 SiC (SiC content ranging from 2.5 to 25 vol%) in water have been developed, using SiC powder with a chemically modified surface. For each system, slurry properties were optimised by measuring adsorption isotherms and rheological behaviour.

Aqueous Processing of AlN Powder
Materials Science Forum, 2007For the production of ceramics containing AlN as a major or minor constituent it is necessary to avoid hydrolysis. To do that, non-aqueous powder processing is required or waterresistant AlN powders must be used. Alternatively, as in the Hydrolysis Assisted Solidification (HAS) process, which exploits the hydrolysis of the AlN for the solidification of

Aqueous Reprocessing by THOREX Process
2013In nature, thorium exists mainly in a monoisotopic form with no fissile isotope for its use as fuel in nuclear reactors. Though a fissile isotope of uranium, 233U is formed by neutron irradiation of fertile thorium in reactors; the subsequent reprocessing of irradiated thorium for recovery, purification, and further handling of 233U product ...

Molecular processes in an aqueous cluster
Journal of Structural Chemistry, 2007A cluster of 216 water molecules in a vacuum is simulated (molecular-dynamic trajectory is 40 ps); the average kinetic energy of water molecule movements corresponds to 300 K. The HLC model of data representation in time intervals of 0.082 ps is used to investigate the molecular scale processes.
