Photochemistry of dihydrobiopterin in aqueous solution
Org. Biomol. Chem., 2010Dihydrobiopterin (H(2)Bip) and its oxidized analogue, biopterin (Bip), accumulate in the skin of patients suffering from vitiligo, a chronic depigmentation disorder in which the protection against UV radiation fails. The photochemistry of H(2)Bip was studied in neutral aqueous solutions upon UV-A irradiation (320-400 nm) at room temperature.

Inhomogeneity of viscous aqueous solutions
Physical Review E, 1995Brownian principles for homogeneous media fail to explain the effect of viscous cosolvents on reaction rates. We examined the possibility that solvent viscosity in the microenvironment of a probe ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\eta}}}^{\mathrm{*}}$ (microviscosity) differs from the bulk viscosity \ensuremath{\eta} (macroviscosity). ${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\eta}}}^

Stability of ertapenem in aqueous solutions
Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2007The kinetics of degradation of ertapenem was studied in aqueous solutions at 303, 313, 323 and 333 K and pH 0.42-12.5. Degradation was studied using two methods: HPLC (LiChrospher RP-18 column, 5 microm, 250 mm x 4 mm; mobile phase: methanol-phosphate buffer 25 mmol l(-1), pH 6.5 (15:85, v/v); flow rate--1.2 ml/min; detection UV--298 nm) and UV (294 nm)

Effects of potentization in aqueous solutions
British Homoeopathic journal, 1999Over the past two decades, research into structure formation and structure conservation in water has created a significant interest among the homeopathy research community. The formation of sustained static and dynamic structures in aqueous solutions is thought to be synonymous with the possible storage of information in associated liquids.

The Chemistry of Cisplatin in Aqueous Solution
2000The antitumor properties of platinum-containing drugs are attributable in large measure to the kinetics of their ligand displacement reactions. As is discussed at length in other contributions to this volume, their primary target is believed to be nitrogen donor atoms in the nucleobases of DNA.

Aqueous Cellulose Solution Adhesive
Nano LettersIn the context of sustainable development, research on a biomass-based adhesive without chemical modification as a substitute for petroleum-based adhesive is now crucial. It turns out to be challenging to guarantee a simple and sustainable method to produce high-quality adhesives and subsequently manufacture multifunctional composites.
