A Covalent Organic Framework With Staggered Topology for Mimetic Transmembrane Transport of Hydrated Ions. [PDF]
Inspired by biological ion channels, an AB‐staggered β‐ketoenamine‐linked COF enables rapid hydrated‐ion transport through a biomimetic dehydration‐compensation mechanism, where carbonyl‐rich convergent channels partially offset ion dehydration energy. As aqueous Zn battery separators, the COF membranes suppress parasitic reactions and dendrite growth,

Bio-Inspired Oligocellulose-Regulated Ice-Water Interfaces Enable Sustained Ion Transport in Frozen Aqueous Zinc Batteries. [PDF]
Inspired by antifreeze glycoproteins (AFGPs), we synthesized a type of oligomeric cellulose (OC‐8) to inhibit ice formation and enlarge the inter‐ice water channel for transportation. Typical confocal fluorescence experiments display the expansion of the ice‐water interface for zinc‐ion transport.
