Crystallography‐Dependent Plating/Stripping Kinetics and Interfacial Morphologies in Zn Metal Anodes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
SECCM coupled with fast‐scan cyclic voltammetry enables facet‐resolved measurements of Zn plating/stripping kinetics on single‐crystal (002), (100), and (101) surfaces. The close‐packed (002) facet exhibits the lowest exchange current density, whereas the more open (100) facet is kinetically fastest.
