[Sesquiterpenes and monoterpene from Aquilaria sinensis].

Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2012
The column chromatography on silica gel, semi-preparative HPLC were used to separate and purify the compounds from the petroleum ether and ethanol extract of Aquilaria sinensis. Nine compounds were isolated. On the basis of their spectroscopic data, the structures were identified as 3, 3, 7-trimethyltricycloundecan-8-one (1), longifolene (2 ...

Chemical constituents from the bark of Aquilaria sinensis

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2013
Agarwood (Aquilaria sinensis), well known as an incense in Southeast Asia, has been used as a sedative, analgesic, and digestive aid in traditional medicine. Agarwood leaves are consumed as a healthy tea in Thailand and Taiwan. [1]. Previous phytochemical investigation on Chinese eaglewood revealed characteristic sesquiterpenes and chromone derivatives

A novel neolignan glycoside from Aquilaria sinensis

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, 2014
Abstract Phytochemical investigation of Aquilaria sinensis afforded one novel neolignan glycoside ( 1 ) and fourteen known compounds ( 2–15 ). Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Among them, compounds 1–3, 5 and 7–9 were obtained from the genus Aquilaria for the first time.

Characteristic quality analysis for biologically induced agarwood columns in Aquilaria sinensis

Environmental Research, 2023
Current artificial agarwood-inducing techniques yield low quality and quantities of agarwood. On account of unclear agarwood formation mechanism there's still no high-efficiency agarwood inducing method globally spread. In this study, a complete agarwood column was taken out of the live tree trunk at 6 months post-treatment by a novel agarwood-inducing
