Leaf area of the legumes arachis pintoi, macrotyloma axilare and neonotonia weightii
Forage legumes have strong potential for the sustainability of the pasture productive systems. Because of their biological fixation of nitrogen, they are the main source of nitrogen from the atmosphere to the soil-plant system. This decreases the need for nitrogen fertilizers on pastures.
