Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Architected Inverse Nacre Hydrogels With High Strength and Crack‐Insensitive Toughness
Hydrogels hold promise for biomedical and engineering applications, yet their practical use is fundamentally limited by the strength‐toughness trade‐off and poor fatigue resistance. In this study, a bioinspired inverse nacre architecture constructed via a scalable thermo‐calendering process is introduced, which overcomes these classic limitations ...

The Influence of Vibration on CaCO3 Scale Formation in Piping System
Carbonate scale is a common problem found in a piping system of industrial process. The presence of mechanical equipment such as turbine, compressor, blower, mixer and extruder produce a mechanical vibration on the piping system which is placed near ...

A coaxial, membrane‐integrated hollow fiber electrode assembly (HFEA) is developed for continuous marine carbon mineralization. By utilizing a sub‐millimeter inter‐electrode gap, the HFEA minimizes Ohmic losses, achieving 50% energy reduction and over 85% DIC removal.

Multi-frequency observations of seawater carbonate chemistry on the central coast of the western Antarctic Peninsula [PDF]
Assessments of benthic coastal seawater carbonate chemistry in Antarctica are sparse. The studies have generally been short in duration, during the austral spring/summer, under sea ice, or offshore in ice-free water.

Abstract Osteochondral lesions of the knee, particularly in patients with early osteoarthritic changes, remain a clinical challenge. The Agili‐C implant (CartiHeal, Smith & Nephew), an aragonite‐based osteochondral scaffold, offers a single‐stage, off‐the‐shelf solution designed to regenerate both cartilage and subchondral bone.
