Modified particle lifetimes as a signature of deformed relativity
We demonstrate a compatibility between the relativity principle and the clock postulate in deformed special relativity, by identifying the relevant deformed Lorentz transformations in position space between arbitrary frames.

Extended precision software packages [PDF]
A description of three extended precision packages is presented along with three small conversion subroutines which can be used in conjunction with the extended precision packages. These extended packages represent software packages written in FORTRAN 4.

Aptamer‐Based Delivery Systems for VEGF and NGF Modulation in Ocular Therapies
Aptamer‐based delivery systems targeting NGF and VEGF hold significant potential for precise and sustained treatment of complex diseases affecting both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. This review critically summarizes current strategies for NGF and VEGF delivery as well as VEGF sequestration, providing a clinical perspective on how ...

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...

Computing the Lambert W function in arbitrary-precision complex interval arithmetic
We describe an algorithm to evaluate all the complex branches of the Lambert W function with rigorous error bounds in interval arithmetic, which has been implemented in the Arb library.

Simulating gravitational collapse with arbitrary-precision arithmetic [PDF]
The collapse of smooth initial conditions into Black Holes is an important phenomenon to unlock fundamental aspects of the gravitational theory. In this paper we go closer to the formation of the apparent horizon using arbitrary-precision arithmetic ...

This study demonstrates that ALY688, a drug mimicking the heart‐protective hormone adiponectin, reduces myocardial ischemia injury. ALY688 increases the production of extracellular vesicles, which carry protective cargo including adiponectin itself.

Efficient rational arithmetic methods that can exactly evaluate the cumulative sampling distribution of the one-sided one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test have been developed by Brown and Harvey (2007) for sample sizes n up to fifty thousand.

Approximation of norms on Banach spaces
Relatively recently it was proved that if $\Gamma$ is an arbitrary set, then any equivalent norm on $c_0(\Gamma)$ can be approximated uniformly on bounded sets by polyhedral norms and $C^\infty$ smooth norms, with arbitrary precision.
