Immune Electron Microscopy of Arboviruses
The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, 1977Representative members of four arbovirus taxons were studied by immune electron microscopy (IEM) in an attempt to determine whether the technique can be applied to the specific identification of arboviruses. Alphavirus, flavivirus, bunyavirus, and rhabdovirus antigens were prepared by propagation in tissue culture.

Seroepidemiological Studies of Arboviruses in Africa
2018The literature on sero-epidemiological studies of flaviviral infections in the African continent is quite scarce. Much of the viral epidemiology studies have been focussing on diseases such as HIV/AIDS because of their sheer magnitude and impact on the lives of people in the various affected countries.

Antigenic Variants of Arboviruses
The Journal of Immunology, 1967Summary When EE or WE virus strains were serially passaged in tissue culture, constituent antigen properties were expressed at the specific passage level when there occurred an equilibrium in subpopulation antigens. The equilibrium could be recognized only under defined conditions of host passage and was measured by specifically designed

The neutralization of arboviruses
Virology, 1965Abstract Neutralization by rabbit antisera to Murray Valley encephalitis, West Nile, Kunjin, and Edge Hill viruses was studied by plaque assay of surviving virus. The neutralization slope of the regression lines in dose-response experiments for each hyperimmune serum was significantly greater in homologous reactions than in cross reactions.

Relationships of Birds and Arboviruses
The Auk, 1966SEVERAL epidemics of disease in man have recently attracted wide public attention due to their spectacular characteristics, of particular interest here being the involvement of birds. Ornithologists have been bombarded with questions and have lacked answers.
