Acustica e tipologia in architettura - Acoustics and typology in architecture
L’articolo pone in relazione l’acustica e la matrice tipologica dell’architettura. Nonostante spesso si sostenga che la forma degli ambienti dedicati all’ascolto nasca come risposta a determinati requisiti acustici, la riflessione porta a concludere che ...

Hot topics in architectural acoustics [PDF]
This lecture will review some of the current topics of interest in the architectural acoustics community. There has been much recent work in trying to determine what physical factors contribute to subtle perceptions of spaciousness and source width in rooms. Efforts to standardize measurement techniques for recently proposed acoustical measures derived

The present work is concerned with the fabrication of CO2 sensors based on MWCNTs/ZnO material, which is obtained by RF magnetron sputtering and electron‐beam deposition methods. The sensor exhibits highly sensitive and selective behavior, high repeatability, and temporal stability at low CO2 concentrations.

Ten questions concerning Architectural Acoustics
Building and room acoustics are relatively modern architectural and engineering disciplines. Nevertheless, acoustics was also a concern for buildings in the past, e.g., in theatres in ancient Greece and in Roman times. Nowadays, we spend 80–90 % of our time indoors, and sound impacts our communication and actions in an environment to a great extent ...
