Interactive architectural modeling with procedural extrusions [PDF]

open access: yesACM Transactions on Graphics, 2011
We present an interactive procedural modelling system for the exterior of architectural models. Our modelling system is based on procedural extrusions of building footprints.

Modeling node architectures

Proceedings. Sixth International Symposium on Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Computer and Telecommunication Systems (Cat. No.98TB100247), 2002
This paper presents a modeling approach based on deterministic and stochastic Petri nets (DSPN) for analyzing the performance of node architectures for MIMD multiprocessor systems with distributed memory. DSPN are a numerically solvable modeling formalism with a graphical representation.

Modeling a Multiprocessor Architecture

IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, 1983
Instead of using a very expensive and powerful central processing unit, the Hypercube F8 uses independent parallel microprocessors that are slow and inexpensive. This architecture is modeled in order to determine the proper number of microprocessors and to validate the system. The model is hierarchical.
