Interactive 3D architectural modeling from unordered photo collections
ACM Transactions on Graphics, 2008We present an interactive system for generating photorealistic, textured, piecewise-planar 3D models of architectural structures and urban scenes from unordered sets of photographs.

This paper describes the importance of Information Technology in improving business; due to technological changes and the strong impact of technology on all areas of business it is necessary to clearly distinguish the importance of the IT architecture domain, and its architecture types within enterprise architecture.

Modeling microservice architectures
Journal of Systems and Software[EN] Modern microservice architectures demand new features from traditional architecture description languages, many of them related to the complexity of the modeled systems. This paper first identifies common concerns found in microservice architectures.

This paper offers an overview of the basic MDA terms and concepts and the relationships among them, with the latter expressed in terms of the UML, and also an outline of a proposed software development process that would leverage MDA. The article also discusses the idea of "accelerated" MDA, which involves using one metamodel to do mappings of ...

This paper advocates a rigorous model focused paradigm of information system development and use. We introduce the concept of “Model Centered Architecture” that sees an information system to be a compound of various networked models, each of which is formed with the means of a Domain Specific Modeling Language.

An architecture for the interoperability of workflow models
Proceedings of the first international workshop on Interoperability of heterogeneous information systems, 2005The goal of this work is to contribute to the field of interoperability of Workflow models. To achieve interoperability, we have built a generic architecture that addresses three levels of abstraction: a common meta-model that the Workflow models must share, a common model that they enact collectively, and a common data model whose management is shared.

Procedural modeling of buildings
ACM Transactions on Graphics, 2006CGA shape, a novel shape grammar for the procedural modeling of CG architecture, produces building shells with high visual quality and geometric detail. It produces extensive architectural models for computer games and movies, at low cost.

Concurrent programming is known to be quite hard. It is made even harder by the fact that, very often, the execution models of the machines we run our software on are not precisely defined.

Architecture-Driven Modelling Methodologies
2011Classical software development methodologies take architectural issues as granted or pre-determined. They thus neglect the impact decisions for architecture have within the development process. This omission is applicable as long as we are considering monolithic systems. It cannot however been kept whenever we move to distributed systems.
