The Conceptual Model Mediated by IVR and 3DP as a First Architectural Idea Generator
The first ideas generation of the architectural project has traditionally been carried out through sketches. Even though in recent decades models have also gained importance, their use is still restricted due to the time required to make them and their ...

AS-BUILT RELIABILITY IN ARCHITECTURAL HBIM MODELING
. The As-Built Model cannot be considered as a simple three-dimensional mould of the studied reality but as a process of analysis, synthesis and communication of architectural complexity including, in addition to geometric-dimensional aspects, also the ...

OpenMx 2.0: Extended Structural Equation and Statistical Modeling
The new software package OpenMx 2.0 for structural equation and other statistical modeling is introduced and its features are described. OpenMx is evolving in a modular direction and now allows a mix-and-match computational approach that separates model ...

DETAILED PRIMITIVE-BASED 3D MODELING OF ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS [PDF]
The article describes a pipeline, based on image-data, for the 3D reconstruction of building façades or architectural elements and the successive modeling using geometric primitives. The approach overcome some existing problems in modeling architectural

Bigraphical Modelling of Architectural Patterns [PDF]
Archery is a language for behavioural modelling of architectural patterns, supporting hierarchical composition and a type discipline. This paper extends Archery to cope with the patterns’ structural dimension through a set of (re-)configuration combinators and constraints that all instances of a pattern must obey.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.
