Archival Update: Yamachiche Wireless Receiving Station Fonds

open access: yesScientia Canadensis
Yamachiche Wireless Receiving Station was established as part of the Imperial Wireless Chain, run by Marconi Wireless Telegraph Co., and later run by the Canadian Overseas Telecommunication Corporation.  Beyond telegraphy, the Station and its network were modified to adopt the emerging technologies of telephony, facsimiles, and teletype.

Dosing Interval Extension of Dupilumab in CRSwNP: Five‐Year Real World Outcomes

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a persistent, often Type 2‐mediated inflammatory disease that markedly impairs quality of life. While dupilumab provides rapid improvement, there is limited evidence on long‐term outcomes beyond 2 years, and the clinical impact of dosing‐interval extension remains unclear.

Genetic prediction of blood cell reactivity and its potential causal influence on bone continuity and density disorders

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
We applied Mendelian randomization to explore causal links between blood cell traits and skeletal disorders. Using genetic instruments from large‐scale summary statistics, we assessed effects on bone continuity, density, and structural integrity. Sensitivity and reverse analyses confirmed robust associations, highlighting potential shared biological ...

Ancient hybridization and phylogenetic discordance: Exploring evolutionary complexity in Asteraceae

open access: yesApplications in Plant Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Premise Conflicting phylogenetic signals are common in plant phylogenomics and often reflect evolutionary histories shaped by processes like hybridization, incomplete lineage sorting, and whole‐genome duplication (WGD). We aimed to identify and assess these complex processes in the hyper‐diverse family Asteraceae to offer insight into the ...

Inter‐microscope comparability of dental microwear texture data obtained from different optical profilometers: Part II Deriving instrument‐specific correction equations for meta‐analyses using published data

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Dental microwear texture analysis (DMTA) has emerged as a valuable method for investigating the feeding ecology of vertebrates. Over the past decade, three‐dimensional topographic data from microscopic regions of tooth surfaces have been collected, and surface texture parameters have been published for both extant and fossil species.

Archival Theory and the Dutch Manual

open access: yes, 1996
The Manual by Muller, Feith, and Fruin (1898) owes much to Theodoor van Riemsdijk (General State Archivist of The Netherlands, 1887-1912), who believed that the basis of archival theory was careful observation and analysis of phenomena and organizations,

The coelurosaur theropods of the Romualdo formation, early Cretaceous (Aptian) of Brazil: Santanaraptor placidus meets Mirischia asymmetrica

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The upper carbonate concretion levels of the Romualdo Formation (Aptian, Brazil) have yielded several theropod dinosaur remains, including spinosaurids and the coelurosaurs Santanaraptor placidus and Mirischia asymmetrica, the phylogenetic affinities of which are controversial.
