Adjunctive Methylprednisolone After Thrombectomy: A Secondary Analysis Stratified by Admission White Blood Cell Count

Admission WBC identified who benefited from adjunctive methylprednisolone after thrombectomy. Improved 90‐day function and lower mortality/pneumonia occurred only with WBC ≥ 10 × 109/L, supporting WBC‐guided corticosteroid targeting. ABSTRACT Background Leukocyte‐driven inflammation may contribute to reperfusion–outcome mismatch after thrombectomy.
