Stimulus responsive control of DNA junction formation: Enzyme action cleaves flexible arms from a metallo‐supramolecular cylinder, transforming an inert metallo‐supramolecular structure into an active metallo‐supramolecular agent, and switching on its ability to assemble, bind and stabilize DNA three‐way junction structures.
